Know them by their fruit.

As we were driving across the country to move to Denver we passed these fields that had a serious line of demarcation.  You can see from the photo that part of the field is lush green with healthy vegetation.  Then there is the brown dead looking side of the field.  I found this so peculiar!  First I wondered how they could so precisely water one side and not the other.  But with all the technology we have, I'm sure agricultural engineers can design watering systems like this in their sleep.
